Officials in Pakistan say they've arrested 2 or 3 suspects in the alleged airplane terror plot. A government spokesman says Pakistan "played a very important role" in uncovering and breaking up the scheme.
And a Pakistani official speaking anonymously says the suspects were arrested a few days ago.
ABC News is reporting Western intelligence agencies had identified three of the alleged ringleaders. Two are thought to have recently traveled to Pakistan and later had money wired to them from that country, purportedly to buy plane tickets for would-be bombers.
U.S. officials say 10 flights from Britain were targeted for using liquid explosives.
