A lawyer for former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto reported Tuesday he received a written threat to assassinate her.
Farook Naiq described the threat as a two-page letter handwritten in Urdu, The New York Times said. The author said no woman should be prime minister and promised Bhutto would be killed with a knife by a female assassin.
