SC adjourns hearing against Musharraf's election till Tuesday

ISLAMABAD -- The 11-member larger bench of the Supreme Court on Monday adjourned till Tuesday the hearing of the petitions filed against the acceptance of nomination papers of President Pervez Musharraf by the Election Commission for the next term.
In his arguments, counsel for Justice (r) Wajihuddin Ahmad, Aitzaz Ahsan submitted that General Pervez Musharraf was not qualified to contest Presidential elections on the day he filed his nomination papers, therefore, he cannot be declared a lawful candidate for this office.
