MMA demands to take Parliament into confidence on fire incident at PC

ISLAMABAD: Muttahida Majlis Amal (MMA) Tuesday demanded from government in National Assembly (NA) to take Parliament into confidence regarding incident of fire in Privatisation Commission and handing over Rashid Rauf to UK.

On a point of order, MMA’s Farid Paracha said that numerous record was burnt to ashes due to eruption of fire in Privatisation Commission and it happened at a critical juncture when fingers were being raised on privatisation policy of the government.

He further said that it is very strange of burning of record and government failed to answer in the House concerning it.

Regarding Rashid Rauf, alleged culprit involved in London plot conspiracy case, he said that government has already given its decision but has not taken Parliament into confidence.

On the other hand, Speaker said that there is no need to issue policy statements in this regard.
