Paradise plea by ‘plotter’
Apr 29, 2008
JET bomb plot suspect Ibrahim Savant left his wife a suicide note begging her to join him in Paradise, a court heard yesterday.
Savant, 27, also allegedly told her: “I hope our actions are pleasing to Allah.”
Savant, of Stamford Hill, North London, is one of eight British Muslims accused of plotting attacks on jets from London to the US.
The men deny conspiracy to murder and endanger an aircraft at Woolwich Crown Court.
Trial continues.
