Adam Gadahn: Al Qaeda Translator

Adam Gadahn identified as Al-Qaeda translator. On Sunday, I read this AP headline "Washington’s Foreign Policies Fuel Terrorism, Says Visiting Mohammad Khatami." I thought to myself: either this guy is a sneaky Radical Muslim trying to sell us a phony bill of good or he's a nitwit. When will the liberal-left, the news media, and even some conservatives -- and the American people -- realize that the Islamic fascists don't hate us for what we do; they hate us for who we are. They hate our culture, our morals, our liberty, our freedoms, our pursuit of happiness and all we stand for.

A perfect example is a new Al-Qaeda videotape making the rounds.

Al-Qaeda's second-in-command Ayman al-Zawahiri appears in the new video, along with a man alleged to be an American member of the terror network, urging Americans to convert to Islam.

The 41-minute video, posted on an Islamic militant Web site on Saturday -- nine days before the fifth anniversary of the 9-11 terror attacks -- had footage of al-Zawahri and a man the video identified as Adam Yehiye Gadahn, an American who the FBI claims attended Al- Qaeda training camps and serves as an Al-Qaeda translator.

Gadahn and al-Zawahiri do not appear together in the video, but were each featured on a split screen. Both are seen wearing white turbans and robes.

It was the second time Gadahn has appeared in the same video with al-Zawahiri. In a July 7 video marking the one-year anniversary of bombings against the London transit system, Gadahn said no Muslim should "shed tears" for Westerners killed by Al-Qaeda attacks, according to Fox News.

"To the American people and the people of the West in general ... God sent his Prophet Muhammad with guidance and the religion of truth ... and sent him as a herald," al-Zawahiri said in an introduction to Saturday's video.

He goes on to tell Americans to convert to Islam or "suffer the consequences."

He said "ignorance" of Islam "causes the people of the West to rapturously applaud when Israel perpetrates wholesale slaughter of Muslims in Lebanon and Palestine and leads them to give their consent to the atrocities that governments commit in Afghanistan, Iraq and elsewhere in the Muslim world."

In other words: How dare we and the Israelis fight back.
